Consumers, wield your power

‘Shrinkflation’ and ingredient swaps are just two of the measures employed by producers to reduce their own costs and up profits, with both financial and environmental costs

Shrinkflation. I’m not so sure that it is a real word, but it is a very real tactic being utilised by the producers of consumer goods. Shrinkflation refers to the practice of the weight or volume of a product being shrunk from its normal size to a slightly smaller scale. It is mainly happening to food goods and is now an epidemic.
