Podcast: Budget 'short-termism' won't be enough for Brexit

In this week’s Between the Lines, I look at how this budget represents the worst of so-called new politics and how the challenge posed by Brexit is beyond our reach as long as this style of politics remains.

These days, Kevin 'Boxer' Moran doesn’t often get to stand in front of his fellow Independent Alliance member,Shane Ross - the Minister- but when he did so hours after the Budget speech, he owned up towhat the Budget was really about when he said “our footprints are all over this.” Ross was sort of smiling behind him - whether in discomfort or in agreement, it’s hard to tell.
