President Higgins was right to strongly criticise Donald Trump’s stance on climate change. But Ireland’s own record is also fairly lamentable

Donald Trump averted a nasty Irish/American row when he told reporters in Shannon that he didn’t know about President Michael D Higgins’s condemnation of his “regressive and pernicious decision” to pull out of the Paris climate change agreement.
