Brexit: We were all caught napping - now we need a new game changer

We were all caught napping last week. Some people actually went to bed on the night of the referendum, believing that the thing they called an exit poll, but wasn’t really an exit poll, had reassured them that European sense had prevailed. Michael Gove’s wife reported that even he went to bed at 10.30pm, long before any results were in. Jeremy Corbyn wasn’t caught napping though. No. He was slumbering through the night; went to bed, turned his phone off and didn’t join the world again until relatively late on Friday morning. An unusual version of leadership!
