National Gallery's art belongs to all of us

The wonderful National Gallery has had an overhaul, but more funding is needed if we are to protect our treasures

Originally established under an Act of Parliament in 1854, we are indebted to those in whose care the National Art Gallery collection has been entrusted over the years, and grateful to those generous benefactors who have donated significant artworks as well as funding down the years.
