As Love Island winners Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill prepared to leave the television dating show’s villa in Mallorca last Tuesday, a much more restricted form of young people’s accommodation got the go-ahead from An Bord Pleanála. The scheme, to be built on the site of a former Christian Brothers school in Dún Laoghaire, will cater for 208 residents who will fit into a limited demographic.
