Move over gin - Ireland is set to experience a rum revolution, according to the chief executive of one of the country’s largest premium spirit, wine and champagne distributors.

Edward Dillon, the drinks importer owned by Moët Hennessy, Bacardi-Martini and Brown-Forman, expects demand for rum to get a boost over the coming years as it is emerging as a drink of choice in the US and Britain.
