Workers’ earnings rises at half the rate of inflation

Average weekly earnings rose by over 4 per cent to more than €900 in the fourth quarter of 2022, according to new statistics.

However, this was just half the rate of inflation during the same period, as many continued to struggle with the cost of living crisis.
