Welltel, the business communications provider, could spend as much as €50 million on acquisitions over the coming months, its chief executive Ross Murray has said.

The company, which has purchased ten Irish firms in recent years, including IT services business ANS two months ago, is actively looking for new acquisitions.

“We have plenty of support. We could spend €50 million in six months if we came across the right deals out there in the market,” Murray told the Business Post.
