Social media giants vie for eyeballs as 42 per cent jump in ad revenue forecast
The battle for scale in web video is intensifying as Snapchat closes in on social media rival Facebook.
The number of videos views on the messaging app has tripled since May to six billion. Snapchat has over 100 million daily users.
This compares with eight billion daily video views on Facebook, a doubling of April's figure of four billion, according to the Financial Times.
