The Commercial Court has refused to “clog” the right of the Blackrock Clinic founder Joseph Sheehan to redeem a €16 million loan from his fellow stakeholder, beef baron Larry Goodman.

The surgeon’s debt, which was acquired by the beef baron’s company Breccia from IBRC in 2014, is tied to his 28 per cent shareholding in the hospital.
