Watchdog probes cartel allegations in aviation sector

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has opened a cartel investigation into allegations of a criminal breach of law in the aviation sector.

Details of the probe were disclosed in the CCPC’s annual report, published last week.

The identity of the company or companies concerned is not known, but the competition watchdog said that as part of the investigation “authorised officers of the CCPC conducted a search of the sector”.
