Walsh set for bumper payday from TV3

Louis Walsh is to become the “new Simon Cowell’ on TV3’s Ireland’s Got Talent, the franchise which will premiere in January. The X Factor judge will pocket a lucrative fee for his role as head judge on the programme, according to an informed source.

“Louis will be paid more than anyone has ever been paid on TV3, that’s a reasonable assumption,” said the source.

“This will be the biggest show they’ve ever done.”
