Vulture’s bid to sink claws into Market Bar staved off

The company that operates Dublin’s Market Bar has won a temporary reprieve following an attempt by a vulture fund to appoint an examiner.

Last week, Launceston, a company linked to US distressed debt giant Carval had Ken Fennell of Deloitte appointed as interim examiner at Mercroft Taverns, the company that operates the popular city centre bar and restaurant.
