The United States has issued a fresh warning to the government that allowing Huawei into Ireland’s 5G network could have ramifications for relations between the two countries.
The Trump administration has urged countries to ban Huawei from the next generation of mobile data infrastructure and warned that giving access to Chinese firms represented an “unacceptable risk”.
