UPC move for TV3 is part of European strategy

UPC’s acquisition of TV3 will be used to provide content to channels across the communications firm’s European operation.

Magnus Ternsjo, chief executive of UPC Ireland, told The Sunday Business Post that the €80 million acquisition was part of a wider move by UPC’s parent company Liberty Global into the television market.
