Twitter cuts jobs in bid to meet profit target
Revenue and customer numbers beat expectations in third quarter
Twitter has announced plans to cut 9 per cent of its workforce - around 300 people - as it released its third-quarter financial results.
The company reported revenue of $616m for the three-month period, 8 per cent ahead of the same period last year, but a slowdown from that period’s 58 per cent surge.
