The number of trips to Ireland rose by 14 per cent to more than 2.6 million in the three months from August to October, the CSO said.

Figures from the Central Statistics Office showed that the number of overseas visits to Ireland in the first 10 months of the year rose by 12.8 per cent compared to the same period a year earlier.
