Transport company faces large legal bill despite beating ‘false’ claim twice

A transport firm is facing hefty costs after it fought and twice beat a “false” compensation claim brought by an unemployed truck driver arising from a road accident.

Ireneusz Larus had his €60,000 claim for damages against Alltrans dismissed in the Circuit Court in 2016, and again at the High Court last week.
