Top hotels oppose College Green plaza plan

Plan has the potential to massively disrupt spending patterns in Dublin’s economy

A group of five-star hotels in Dublin city centre will this week come out against the city council’s plan to pedestrianise College Green.

It is understood that six hotels will submit a joint opinion to Dublin City Council requesting an oral hearing on the €10 million plan, which would see a ban on all traffic crossing to and from Dame Street.
