Ansbacher accounts and bogus non-resident accounts were once a goldmine for the Revenue.

But with these special investigations now almost complete, and a haul of €2.7 billion brought in, the Revenue has found some new leads to investigate.

Many of them have been facilitated by international tax treaties, by the power of digital technology and by the wealth of information gathered from the property tax.
