Time for Ireland to make up its mind on Huawei
As a country, Ireland likes to make a virtue of its relative size and isolation on the periphery of Europe. With an official policy of military neutrality, Ireland boasts of its refusal to join military alliances (including Nato) and, in more recent times, has steadfastly refused to dilute the Northern backstop despite pressure from its larger neighbour Britain.
