Thousands of council flats to be razed in radical new Dublin housing plan

A radical multibillion-euro plan to regenerate Dublin’s housing stock could see thousands of council homes demolished, The Sunday Business Post has learned.

Dublin City Council is also open to using public/private partnerships to lure developers into the scheme, who would build bundles of up to 1,000 homes at a time.

If the plan proceeds, it would be the most ambitious urban regeneration strategy witnessed in the capital in decades.
