Tesla’s Irish turnover hits €43.5m as Model 3 sales continue to spike
Irish arm of Elon Musk-founded company reported a slight drop in profits as it continued to expand its operations in this country
Tesla’s Irish unit continued to grow its revenues last year amid rising sales of its Model 3 electric vehicle, with turnover hitting €43.5 million.
Accounts filed by the company show its pre-tax profits took a slight hit in the year ended December 31, 2021, coming in at €564,759. The results came after Tesla’s cost of sales increased by nearly 10 per cent, reaching €40.6 million by the end of the period.
