Tesco will raise pay and in-store discounts for its staff in response to inflation and cost of living pressures, the company has announced.

The company said it will raise employee hourly pay by 4 per cent and improve its Colleague Clubcard scheme, which gives workers discounts when they shop in Tesco. The 4 per cent raise was first announced in May 2022, and followed a 6 per cent pay increase in April 2022.
