Taoiseach knew Lowry had won his tax appeal
Taoiseach Enda Kenny knew that Michael Lowry had won his tax appeal five days before Lowry issued a statement on the outcome of the proceedings.
Lowry issued a statement revealing that he had had been successful in his tax appeal last Tuesday. All tax appeals are confidential, unless the taxpayer chooses to reveal the outcome.
However, the Taoiseach knew of Lowry’s success the previous Thursday, soon after the decision had been delivered.
