Supermarket chain Iceland sells all of its Irish stores

The company said it plans to focus instead on the UK market

Iceland, the supermarket chain, has sold all 27 of its stores based in the Republic of Ireland.

The deal was with a company called The Project Point Technologies, which will continue to operate the stores under the Iceland brand as part of a franchise agreement.
