Study flags major slowdown in Irish tech companies planning to hire

The survey comes after Salesforce and Amazon were the latest companies in the sector to announce cuts

Far fewer tech companies are planning to hire extra staff in the coming months, a new study has found.

The latest Employment Outlook Survey from recruitment company Manpower, which polled 410 Irish firms, found the industry has become much more cautious in recent months.

The survey works by asking employers if they intend to hire more, maintain headcounts or reduce the size of their workforce in the coming three months.
