Sterling Pharma to invest €30m in Ringaskiddy site and treble production

Company plans to boost headcount to manage increased production capacity

Sterling Pharma Solutions, the British pharmaceutical group, plans to invest almost €30 million in its Ringaskiddy facility near Cork city over the next five years as it seeks to ramp up production at the site.

The company, which is a contract manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for the wider drug industry, acquired the Ringaskiddy site from Novartis last year and plans to triple production at the facility over the coming years.
