Figures show how much the controversial project has already cost the state before a sod has been turned

The government has spent nearly €90 million on the relocation of the National Maternity Hospital (NMH) to St Vincent’s Hospital before a sod has been turned on the new project.

New figures provided by the Department of Health show the costs of moving the hospital from Holles Street have reached €89.25 million over the last six years.
