Standards for suicide prevention groups

The HSE is preparing national standards for the country’s 300 suicide prevention groups, writes Michael Brennan.

It comes after an unpublished study found that staff in one third of the suicide prevention groups surveyed were not required to have Garda clearance for working with vulnerable people.
