A suspended staff member of the National Museum with an alleged “obsession with tall women with long legs” is bringing a breach of contract claim against his employer.

Dr Andrew Halpin is already suing the museum over his suspension from his post as Assistant Keeper of Irish Antiquities after complaints of alleged sexual harassment. It is understood his lawyers will apply to join the two cases at a High Court hearing this week.
