Solicitor Lucey faces tribunal over €259k cash transfer

The Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal has begun its deliberations in the case of Helen Lucey, the coroner for north Kerry, over her transfer of €259,000 from a client account to her own account in 2007.

Lucey told the tribunal the sum was part of a settlement between her and Sheila Walsh, one of the beneficiaries of an estate over which Lucey was the executor.
