Solicitor Kean loses his bid to access Star reporter’s emails

The well-known solicitor Gerald Kean has been blocked by journalistic privilege from accessing drafts of an allegedly defamatory newspaper article published in The Star.

Kean is suing the tabloid for damages, including aggravated damages, over a story published on March 11, 2016.
