Solar so good as Kingspan makes new panel play

Cavan-based construction materials giant Kingspan is planning a major foray into commercial-scale roof- mounted solar systems in Ireland.

The installation of solar panels on massive industrial facilities will enable customers to cut costs and, the company says, provide a hedge against future electricity price rises.
