Siptu wants Bord na Mona coal workers’ pay hike to be backdated nearly a decade

Siptu is seeking a 3.5 per cent pay increase for Bord na Mona coal workers to be backdated to August 2008.

A case was brought to the Labour Court over the pay claim for about 50 of Bord na Mona’s coal business employees and redundancy terms offered to employees of the Bond Road coal depot in Dublin.
