Sinéad McSweeney, one of Twitter’s top executives in Ireland, has formally resigned as a director of the company, documents filed with the Companies Registration Office (CRO) show.

McSweeney, formerly the global vice-president for public policy at Twitter, settled with the firm in December after she secured a temporary High Court injunction which stopped the social media giant from terminating her employment.
