Shannon Heritage told to pay staff for frozen salaries
Workers say Bunratty Castle firm promised to pay withheld increments when finances recovered; company carried out ‘significant’ capital investment at visitor centre last year
Shannon Heritage, the company behind Bunratty Castle, has been ordered to make back-payments to its staff to cover increments it froze during the recession.
In a recommendation delivered this month, the Labour Court said that the company should pay workers “the outstanding 2014 increment with full retrospection to July 2014”.
