Shamrock Rovers back in black as strong on-field performances drive €400k profit

League of Ireland holders returned to profitability on the back of strong ticket sales and a European run following a loss in 2020 due to the pandemic

Shamrock Rovers, the Dermot Desmond-backed League of Ireland holders, returned to profitability in its latest financial year following a Covid-induced loss the previous year.

Accounts filed with the Companies Registration Office (CRO) show the Tallaght-based club recorded after-tax profits of €409,753 last year, in a financial period that ended on November 30, 2021.
