Shadow lifted from Moville as McDermott revives Foyle Hotel
Chef aims to draw custom through cookery classes and championing local produce
The Foyle Hotel in Moville, Co Donegal, will reopen this week with chef Brian McDermott at the helm.
The hotel on Malin Street will begin trading on Wednesday for the first time in ten years, with 17 bedrooms and a restaurant and wine bar.
McDermott has ploughed €1.5 million into the venture, creating 30 full and part-time jobs in the town, where he lives with his wife Brenda and daughters Niamh and Aoife.
