SFI boss’s expense bill totals €60,000

Taxpayer footed small bills and large for Ferguson

The chief executive of Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) claimed back more than €60,000 in expenses in 2013 and 2014, The Sunday Business Post has learned.

Documents obtained by this newspaper under the Freedom of Information (FOI) act show that Mark Ferguson claimed for international flights and hotel bills, along with a number of smaller parking charge expenses, often of no more than €2.
