Rye River mulls shift from glass bottles to beer cans in fight against inflation
The Kildare-based company has grappled with rising costs as a result of the war in Ukraine
Rye River Brewing Company is looking at selling more of its beer in cans rather than in glass bottles in an effort to cut down on costs.
The Kildare-based firm has reported revenues of €7.5 million for 2021, a rise of 6 per cent compared to 2020. The company sells a range of popular beers under its own name, having recently rebranded from McGargles.
