Ryanair posted record after-tax profits of €1.37 billion in the first half of the year as people returned to air travel after the pandemic and fares ticked higher.

The Irish airline this morning reported significant jump in profitability from €1.15 billion in the same period a year earlier, and forecast that while the winter period would be loss-making its full-year profit would hit at least €1 billion.
