RTÉ director general’s first-year expenses approach €50k
Relocation expenses included in amount charged by Dee Forbes
RTÉ’s director general charged expenses of nearly €50,000 to the company last year.
Dee Forbes, who took up the position at the helm of the national broadcaster in July 2016, incurred expenses amounting to €49,652 – including relocation expenses, according to RTÉ’s annual report which was released last week.
Prior to securing the position in RTÉ, the Cork native was based in London as president and managing director of Discovery Networks Northern Europe.
