RPA sued over bid for Luas contract

A consortium that missed out on Dublin’s cross-city Luas line contract has claimed in the High Court that it was “wrongfully discriminated against” in the tender process.

Portuguese contractor Somague and Mayo-based Wills Bros Ltd are suing the Railway Procurement Agency, because they believe their tender of €98 million was significantly lower than the winning bid.
