Robinson stays silent on bill for climate change

Former president Mary Robinson’s foundation is staying silent on the effectiveness of the government’s climate change bill, due to her position as a former president.

This is in contrast with the approach of another former president, Mary McAleese, who played a key role in the Yes campaign during the recent same-sex marriage referendum.
