Revolut records first ever profit after posting delayed accounts
The finance app is one of Europe’s largest start-ups, with millions of users
Revolut, the popular finance app, made its first annual profit in 2021 after nearly tripling its revenues, according to delayed accounts published by the company.
The London-based business said pretax profit of £39.8 million (€45.2 million) in 2021 compared to a loss of £220.7 million a year earlier, with revenue jumping to £636 million.
