Revenues rise at Ikea’s Irish arm as online sales soar

Company pays €3m in dividends to Swedish parent as furnishings retailer benefits from homeowners turning living quarters into workspaces

Ikea’s Irish arm reported a jump in revenues last year to €190.9 million with online sales representing more than half of all turnover.

The furnishing retailer paid €3 million in dividends to its Swedish parent at year-end after pre-tax profits rose slightly to €3.76 million from €3.69 million in 2020.
