The state is handing over €45,000 a day to a handful of blue-chip law firms for legal advice, a Sunday Business Post analysis has revealed.

Just 13 firms shared a total of €16.3 million, accounting for over 42 per cent of the state’s total legal bill for legal advice, which comes to a combined total of €38.2 million.
