Irish home prices rose by 8.9 per cent year-on-year in September

Irish residential property prices rose by 1.3 per cent in September and increased by 8.9 per cent year-on-year, the Central Statistics Office said.

The price of homes in Dublin increased by 0.9 per cent last month and was 6.5 per cent higher than in September 2014.

Outside of Dublin, prices rose by 1.6 per cent on the month and 11.4 per cent on the year, the CSO said.
